Using Your 7 Chakra Copper Water Bottle
Wash and rinse your bottle before its first use. Fill it with plain, room-temperature drinking water and replace the water daily.
Use it for water only. Avoid hot drinks, juice, lemon water, fizzy drinks and other acidic beverages.
How to Clean Your 7 Chakra Antique Copper Water Bottle
Wash by Hand
Use mild dishwashing liquid and a soft sponge or bottle brush. Rinse thoroughly. Keep your bottle out of the dishwasher, and avoid harsh detergents and abrasive scrubbers.
Protect the Antique Finish
Wipe the outside with a soft, damp cloth and dry it gently. Avoid lemon, salt, vinegar, baking soda and metal polish on the exterior, as these can damage the dark antique finish and etched details.
Clean the Inside
For everyday cleaning, use mild dishwashing liquid, water and a soft bottle brush. Rinse well and leave the bottle uncapped until completely dry.
Copper naturally changes colour over time. If the interior needs a deeper clean, use a cleaner specifically suitable for copper drinkware, following its directions for rinsing.
Look After the Lid
Keep the threads and sealing ring clean. If the lid squeaks, clean and dry the threads and check that the sealing ring is seated correctly. Close firmly without overtightening.
Store It Dry
When you’re not using the bottle, empty it and let it dry fully. Store it with the lid off.
